Healthy body image + deeper confidence
I'm sure some of you may find it hard to believe, but it's taken me years (and a lot of self discovery) to stop comparing my body to other women's.
I can hear shocked "but you're so confident" comments from friends and clients in my mind as I type this.
But the truth is, I haven't always been that way (I'll share more about that another time).
It's difficult to admit, but no matter how fit I've been, no matter what size, no matter the compliments I've received, I've always made comparisons; subconsciously and otherwise.
We've all done it.
. . . "I'd love her legs" . . . "I wish I had her skin" . . . "God I'd love boobs like hers"
Think about it for a moment. You've made those comments countless times, right?
Even when we compliment other women, we seem to somehow flippantly downplay our own beauty, body and physical attributes. Why? Because it's the NORM!!
But the comparison game is a dangerous one.
So take a minute. Think about how you really feel. Are you comfortable and confident in your own skin? Do you struggle with self judgment? Have you been at war with your body?
If you answered yes to any of those, perhaps you're ready to finally reach a place of genuine contentment with what you see in the mirror and how you feel about yourself? Maybe you're ready to start working on a healthier body image and deeper confidence?
Sound like you? Let me help.
