Looking for shortcuts is habitual and practical. I mean, why would you CHOOSE to go the long way round, right?
Whether it be a car journey, a tough run, losing weight, we all naturally opt for the easy way.
That’s why diet pills and faster modes of transport were invented; to combat impatience.
We humans value time too much.
But here’s the thing, rushing the stuff that matters, like falling in love, getting fit, building relationships; that stuff takes time and shortcuts just don’t work.
